Ladies and Gentlemen start your burners! Entries are now open for the 2008 SOBA National HomeBrew Championship. Entries now close on 19 September 2008. Judging will be done in the latter part of September and results announced in the first week of October.

Entry forms are available only from this website www.soba.org.nz/competition. This year there will be separate categories for Kit beers and Advanced beers. The Kit beer category has a simplified set of categories.

Last years competition was a fantastic event with over 150 entries and a huge number of prizes including two complete keg systems, 100kg Malt, 36 Brew Kits, SOBA caps and shirts and the winning beer was brewed at Hallertau brewery.
