Review:
Externally this is promoted as a Speights Ale House, so I expected to find the usual (full) range of Speights tap beers - how wrong I was; the only Speights beer available is Speights Gold on tap !
The bar itself is comfortable enough, though your feet tend to get stuck to the floor near the bar - not through any desire to stay near the bar, they just stick there. Plenty of exposed brickwork and wood plus an abundance of TV screens (large and small).
Opening hours: Mo - Th 0900 to late, Sa 1000 to 0300, Su 0930 to midnight.
Tap beers: Macs range, Speight Gold, Lion Brown, Kilkenny, Guinness & Oranjeboom.
Bottled beers: Macs range, Steinlager, Stella Artois, Kirin, Asahi, Crown, Hoegaarden, Becks and Corona.
